In this workshop we’re going to explore the various ways people are influenced by house and home. We’ll learn a little history, look at how home shows up in published works, and then we’ll write. You’ll leave with prompts and ideas to use in your own writing. This workshop is for all genres.

Why an evening workshop?
In last year’s survey of BWC members, some people requested adding weeknight workshops. The Executive Committee hasn’t been able to establish a weeknight workshop, mostly due to lack of funding–we take pride in paying a stipend to our workshop facilitators. To fulfill the request, (and perhaps to bid adieu to her tenure as president), Cheryl is presenting two weeknight workshops for Poetry Month. One is for all genres. One is poetry specific.
