About Michael Gaspeny
His poems have adorned a
florist’s window, inspired a sculpture,
gained several Pushcart Prizes and
Best of the Net nominations. His prose novel,
A Postcard from the Delta, won
the Randall Jarrell Poetry Prize.
A former reporter, Michael taught journalism and
English at the college level for nearly forty years.
When: January 10, 2026 | 10am – Noon
Where: 415 S. Church St., Burlington, NC, The Bray Fellowship Hall at First Christian United Church of Christ. Park in the back of the church. Enter through the breezeway–between the domed sanctuary and the three-story education building.
